Road closure: Ackerman Ave. from South Broad Street to Godwin Ave.

On Monday October 28th, road work will begin on Ackerman Avenue with milling on Tuesday, October 29th and paving on Wednesday, October 30th.
Work will begin at 7am at the intersection of Godwin Avenue and work down Ackerman Avenue towards South Broad Street.
A detour will be in place along Doremus Avenue. Traffic officers will be in place at high traffic areas to assist with vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
To avoid traffic delays, please plan an alternate route.
Parents and staff should approach Orchard School from Glen Rock on Doremus Avenue. Vehicles can use Lincoln Avenue to Rutland Road to Doremus Avenue and turn left onto Orchard Place to access the school without delay.
Vehicles can also use the rear entrance of the school and approach from Lincoln Avenue and go east on Orchard Place. Bellair Road may be closed to thru traffic, however parents may park on Bellair Road and walk to the school if necessary.
